YULEE, Fla. -- It's time to get out the sharpened pencils and put on those new school clothes!
Today marks the first day of class for students in Nassau County.
"We went to bed earlier, getting up early, and laid our clothes by the door," parent Lani Beasley said.
As kiddos head back, there's one thing parents need to note. For most schools in the district, there will be early dismissal today.
Yulee Elementary School will go from 8 to 11:30 am.
Callahan Elementary, School will start at 8:05 and go until 11 am. Hilliard Elementary School will start at 7:45 am and let out at 11 am.
