Suns remember Bragan

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It is a sad night at the Baseball Grounds. Suns fans are remembering the life and times of Peter Bragan, the longtime owner of the Jacksonville Suns.

Mr. Bragan is being remembered as a man who was tough and kind hearted. A car salesman from a baseball loving family he helped pave the way for many young men and women in the game.

The bell he loved to ring after a Suns homer or win is getting a work out from fans touched by the life he lived. Mr. Bragan lived to be 89 years old and leaves a lasting legacy in this ball park and the city of Jacksonville.
