Suspected murderer thought to be in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Law enforcement from Cobb County, near Atlanta, is on the hunt for a murder suspect who they believe is heading to or is currenty hiding in the Jacksonville area.
John Steven Kristofak (aka Wayne Beach or Tom Peterson), 58, is considered armed and dangerous and could be driving a brown Chevrolet Equinox with Georgia tag # BUV 2625.
According to our sister station in Atlanta, Kristofak sent threatening emails to an ex-wife before her death.
The suspect may have dyed his air since last being seen.
The Cobb County Sheriff's Office does not know why Kristofak maybe traveling to North Florida.
