Suspected purse snatcher identified

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police have identified a couple wanted for a local purse snatching outside Walmart.

The robbery happened in mid-December outside the Walmart at 11900 Atlantic Boulevard.

The victim was in the parking lot walking to her car when a woman jumped out of a car and snatched her purse.  The suspect was wearing multi-colored hospital scrubs.  She jumped out of a light blue Toyota Scion.  A man was seen driving the getaway car.

Prior to the robbery, the suspects attempted to purchase an item for an infant at Walmart.  Their card was declined.

Late this afternoon, JSO says it received a call from someone who identified the couple in the picture.

No word yet from JSO on whether the couple's been arrested.
