Haunt of Terry Parker is free family fun
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The homemade haunted house The Haunt of Terry Parker was started by a teen several years ago and it continues on tomorrow.
Paxson sophomore Austin Beley started it after he spent a Halloween jumping out at the neighborhood kids and realized he loved scaring people.
Twenty to 30 family members and neighborhood friends spend about three weeks every year transforming Austin's grandfather's backyard into a makeshift haunt.
This year they also opened the haunt for additional days (Friday and Saturday) to try and get the most use out of it.
The Haunt of Terry Parker will be tomorrow from dusk until 10 p.m. It is free but donations are greatly appreciated.
The Haunt is located on Terry Parker Drive South.
