Victim identified in Southside murder-suicide
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police have identified the two people involved in Friday's murder-suicide in a quiet Southside neighborhood.
On November 2, Lauren Allen and Jamel Bowman were found dead in a home in the Covington Creek Community. Police believe it was a murder-suicide, where Allen is the victim and Bowman is the suspect.
Investigators aren't saying how the two died. They also aren't saying how Allen and Bowman knew each other, only saying that they've known each other for quite awhile. The case is still under investigation.
