JACKSONVILLE, Fl -- An Arlington woman is being charged with aggravated battery after officers say she ran over the father of her child with her car.
The incident occurred in front of a home on Townsend Boulevard just before noon. Witnesses say the couple was arguing and then the suspect got into her car, hit the man and drove off, knocking him to the ground.
Officers are not releasing the names of the victim or the suspect. They do tell Action News the man was injured and taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. They also tell Action News they are not charging the woman with hit and run at this time because she is cooperating with the investigation.
