After another half inch to an inch of rain, a couple of cool days ahead.  Afternoon temps. Thu. will only reach the low to mid 60s then under clearing skies at night, temps. will drop into the 30s by early Fri. morning -- cold enough for a bit of inland frost near & west of Highway 301.  Friday will end up being a pretty nice day with a good deal of sun & afternoon highs well into the 60s.
Then the stage will be set for a big warming trend just in time for the weekend.  Highs will reach the mid 70s Sat. & Sun. though onshore winds will keep beaches in the 60s to low 70s.  Highs will reach near & a little above 80 by Monday!

Drones are being researched as possible attempt at seeding clouds, especially in the Western U.S. given the current extreme drought -- click ** here **.  The map below shows the drought conditions across the west.  Just a personal note: one has to be very careful (wary of) messing with Mother Nature(!).

Wed.'s topics for "Severe Weather Awareness Week": thunderstorms & tornadoes -- click ** here **.  There will be a Fl. test tornado drill Thu. morning @ 10:10am.
