"Isaac" has been quite the forecast headache ending up far to the west of Fl.  And so now it's a hit for coastal Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama.  Click here for updates - "Talking the Tropics With Mike".
The First Coast obviously was spared the worst.  Top wind gusts were 30-35 mph mostly along the coast & rain so far has averaged a half inch to 2".  Midday & afternoon storms the through Thu. will -- in many cases -- pack a stronger punch than the outer bands of "Isaac".  There has been some beach erosion.  The photo below is from Action News reporter, Erica Bennett in St. Augustine.

Isolated tornadoes occurred across Central & South Fl. with one tornado reportedly hitting Vero Beach Mon. afternoon.  Rainfall was especially heavy across Southern & Southeast Fl.  Check out rainfall amounts from the Miami N.W.S.:

Pretty cool NASA's hurricane website -- click here.
Radar imagery below courtesy S. Fl. Water Management Water District:

With a little more sun through Thu. but still a lot of tropical moisture & fairly strong winds aloft, there will still be periods of very heavy showers & t'storms.  Don't be surprised if the storms pack more of a punch that what we've seen so far with "Isaac".

It looks like the final Jags' preseason game will be warm & muggy with a threat for some rain, especially in the first half.  While not completely dry, the holiday weekend looks hot with just a few scattered showers & storms.
The first weekend of college football will be hot.
