There will be one frontal passage the next 5 days -- Fri. The cool front won't be particularly strong but will still produce a few showers. Rain amounts look scattered & light averaging .10" or less. Temps. will warm up ahead of the front Thu. into the mid 80s then drop back to the upper 70s to lower 80s by the weekend with comfortable humidity allowing nighttime temps. to dip into the 50s.
NOAA will issue its winter forecast Thu. Look for a neutral ENSO pattern to a low end El Nino to be the primary player. The Farmer's Almanac has already jumped into looking ahead for the winter. The Almanac predicts a wetter winter for the First Coast -- which follows a typical El Nino pattern......but also calls for an active hurricane season next year. Click here for the details.
