One more mild day Wed. before near record warmth arrives for Halloween & Fri. as highs top out in the mid to upper 80s.

A cold front will arrive Sat. accompanied by showers. Rain looks to be widespread with amounts generally a quarter to half inch, locally .5-1". It'll be close as to whether or not the rain moves out before kickoff for the Fl./Ga. game. But we will get to enjoy a nice Sunday with cooler, much drier air on northerly winds resulting in plenty of sun for weekend day #2.

If you missed seeing the International Space Station Tue. evening, you get another even better opportunity. The station will be visible for 6 min. Wed. evening at 7:04 pm moving from NW to SE. Click ** here ** for a table from NASA for Jax through the 12th of Nov.

Want to see fall foliage but not travel too far? You could head to Northern Ga. The peak of color for much of N. Ga. is typically late Oct./early Nov. & even S. Ga. usually sees some fall color by at least late Nov. The wet early summer followed by mild fall temps. has the potential to make for a very colorful season.
