The First Alert weather story this week:

(1) overnight/early morning fog

(2) unseasonably mild

Fog will continue to have a tendency to develop between 1 & 6am then dissipate between 8 & 10am. Otherwise skies will be mostly to partly sunny with very mild temps. that will be within a few degrees of record highs.

Some inland areas should reach 80+. The First Coast will stay very mild through Mon. before a weakening cold front reaches the area Tue.

This cool front will be far weaker compared to its movement through the Northern & Central U.S. this week. Arctic air will invade much of the Northern 1/2 to two-thirds of the U.S. accompanied by ice & snow. The map below shows all the winter advisories that are in effect.

The book has closed on Nov. The avg. temp. at JIA was a mere 0.1 degrees above the avg. of 62.3 degrees. 2.84" of rain was 0.73" above avg. With relatively frequent Nor'easters, many coastal areas had more rain. From our Jax N.W.S.:
