Our "warm spell" continues. Onshore east to southeast winds will play a role in just how warm temps. get due to occasional fog & a few showers, especially closer to the coast. Longer lasting morning fog/clouds will keep temps. a little lower & will modulate just how warm temps. get each day. Inland areas in particular should still manage to get well into the 70s & by Sun. & Mon. temps. will soar to near & above 80 degrees inland which will be near record levels. A cold front will finally move through the area Tue. night dropping temps. to near average Wed. & Thu.
Our Jax N.W.S. has posted on their website weather data (temps. & rain) for autumn (Sept.-Nov.) & for Nov. Turns out that Nov. was the 4th coolest on record in Jax due primarily to the many cloudy days later in the month. The slightly more than a quarter of an inch of rain at JIA was the 13th driest on record in what is normally one of the driest months of the year. Click
