Our soggy weather pattern will continue as showers & a few t'storms become widespread Wed. afternoon into Thu. A weak front will set up south of Jax & move slowly north as a strong upper level disturbance crosses Ga. This combination should be good for 100% rainfall coverage spreading south to north with amounts averaging .5-1", locally 1-2". Fri. & Sat. look to generally be drier but still with a few showers, especially south of Jax. Some additional showers for Sun. - could include the late afternoon Jags' game - before a nice surg of cooler, drier air for early next week. So Sept. is in the books. Temps. at JIA were near avg. - just .1 degree above the avg. of 78.2 degrees. Most surprising is that temps. were 90+ degrees the first 8 days of Sept. but not again during the rest of the month. Total rainfall of 6.59" was 1.6" below avg. at JIA.
