JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Amazon is now offering same day delivery for groceries in a few test markets.

Getting things the same day is the new hot trend online. Amazon is doing a big push with same day delivery for merchandise and groceries right now in a handful of cities.

And listen to some of the tests they are doing. They have a new membership level that is called Prime Fresh that costs $299 a year! They are expecting a number of people will.

Here's how it works: If you are an Amazon Prime Fresh member and pay them the $300 in the markets where it's being tested, you get groceries delivered on your whim! You order them. Bam! They show up at your house.

You order merchandise from Amazon, most of it will show up in just hours, not waiting days. They're still going to offer the $79 membership that guarantees two day delivery, but if two days isn't quick enough for you, and your wallet can swing it, well $300 gets it there right now.
