JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- I'm so excited because after six years of essentially no housing construction of any kind going on in the country, the housing market is coming back.
You can see it in a lot of cities. Where they're building big apartment complexes, you see the cranes back at work, but the big news is homes are being built again in America. When we hit into the key part of the real estate bust after the bubble, we at that point may have had as many as 10 million homes in America with nobody to love them nobody to live in them.
We've had enough time now for that to correct and I've got a crazy stat to prove it.
Let's call it the port a potty index; I saw a story in the Orlando Sentinel that companies that rent port a potties, mainly for the construction industry, had had to rent all these big facilities to store all the port a potties through the real estate bust.
And now where are they? They're not in the warehouses. They're back on construction sites, and that's great news for our economy moving forward.
