JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Do you like grabbing an energy drink from the convenience store, the super market or whatever? Well for you as an adult, that's a personal choice.
But do you know who's drinking a lot of energy drinks? Kids! In fact there is a lawsuit by the District Attorney of San Francisco against Monster energy drink specifically, alleging they're marketing toward children as young as 6 years old.
Well these energy drinks have as much caffeine as three cups of coffee. Not necessarily good for a kid to have that rush of caffeine. So you as a parent should also be aware that you are getting a triple jolt of caffeine by drinking one of these things.
So do what ever you can to educate your kids that it's not a good choice for them to get an energy drink and educate your self to limit how many of these you have.
