JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Facebook ads are getting infected by a malware that drains your bank account.

There's been an ugly, ugly virus that's been hanging around for years called Zeus that is set up to steal all the money out of your bank account. Now it's morphed into one that has infected a lot of Facebook users. Let me tell you what you need to know.

The problem is the ads that are showing up on some of the Facebook fan pages are in fact infected with versions of the Zeus virus.

You end up loading it onto your computer and then when you go into your bank account from your computer, here's what happens. The Zeus type virus captures your username and password and later after you've signed out of your bank account, they sign in and steal all the money out of your account.

If you are an active Facebook user, what you should do if you do online banking, is to check your online account three times a week just to make sure no funny stuff is going on. Run an anti-virus program as well.

Hmmm you call it a malware type issue and yet you tell us to run an anti-virus software? That makes sense Bet you won't find malware with a virus scanner.
