JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- When you go to the doctor and the doctor writes a prescription for you are you in shock after you found out just how much the drug is?
What can you do about that? Well I want you to reverse the whole process, because you know today we have the highest percent of prescription drugs ever written that are generic.
It's almost 85% of all prescription drugs are generic. So here's what I recommend: Whatever your favorite place to fill a prescription, get their $4 prescription list.
Walmart has one. So does Target. Or if you're a warehouse club member you can get their list of inexpensive generic drugs.
Take the prescription list with you when you go to the doctor. When you're there, you have the doctor write the script from that list from the pharmacy you've chosen.
So that way you know all you're going to pay is $4 or so for your prescription medicine.
You can download these lists easily online. For more information go to ClarkHoward
