JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- I am obsessed with exercising. Sometimes I don't get to work out in the morning, so when I come home in the evening I face this battle in my mind, should I work out or should I not.

That's because I heard my whole life if you work out in the evening, you're not going to be able to sleep. So sometimes I work out and I psyche myself out, and sure enough I have trouble falling asleep. 

Well the National Sleep Foundation says it's all in my head; you can exercise anytime of the day. So if you have time to work out at night, work out because it will not affect your sleep patterns. 

In fact for many people, working out just relieves enough stress that you'll be able to sleep better, even if you work out in the evening instead of the morning. But the most important thing, do at least a little exercise, everyday!
