It’s finally here! It’s auction time for the 2010 Dream 18 flags. Hopefully, this is the future of the Dream 18 - to raise money for wonderful charities in our area. The charities we are focusing on this year are the Dreams Come True Foundation and The First Tee of Jacksonville and St. Johns County.

There are three ways to bid on the Dream 18 flags.

  1. EBAY - There is a link available on www.actionnewsjax.com Dream 18 page that you can navigate and bid. You can also search “action sports” or “dream 18” on www.ebay.com

  2. PALM BEACH AUTOGRAPHS - the framed flag will be on display at Palm Beach Autographs during the first two weeks of April. The store in the Avenues Mall has partnered up with us during the auction. People can go to Palm Beach Autographs and bid on the flag in a silent auction. Highest bidder wins the flag.

  3. PRO SHOP BID - Play golf at your local pro shop, but don’t forget to check out the flags and bid on them before or after your round. Might be great to hang in the pro shop or locker room at the course. Give your pro the bid and highest bidder in the area, gets the flag.

The flags are framed with a scorecard from our 2010 Dream 18 and signed by all of our America’s Guests. The list includes: Josh Scobee, Jim Furyk, Artis Gilmore, Brad Meester, Tom Watson (see web for this story), Sam Jones, Arnold Palmer, Herb Peyton, Davis Love III, Jaxson de Ville, Fred Funk and Shannon Miller.
