Although he hasn't been there long quarterback Austin Chipoletti has already made his mark on Oakleaf High School.
"It's been different but you know the fans here, they love football, everyone's crazy about football, they're wanting to build history here."
Before the season started the former Bradford QB made the move to Oakleaf when his father Derek took the Knights head coaching position.
Be also became the schools first major recruit when he committed to New Hampshire in July, although bigger schools still keep in touch.
"There's calls every now and then but the most calls I get are from New Hampshire, they want to know that I'm still with them, firmly committed, and I am"
One of the draws for college teams is Austin's high football IQ, it's something he works on every week.
"As I've gotten older I feel like film study has gotten a whole lot more important, the importance of it hasn't changed but maybe what I got from it"
The extra time in the classroom goes a long way between the lines.
"It helps me visually learn it, when I'm out there and we get a certain formation called, I know I might get this to it, so I have a presnap feel of what I might get."
