TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher will soon know whether he has netted another top-ranked recruiting class.

Most top high school football prospects will make their choices known Wednesday, and Florida State has its fingers crossed on a number of the country's top prep players. The Seminoles are believed to be in on two of the country's top 10 prospects, linebacker Matthew Thomas from Miami and offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil from Lake City. Thomas is reported to be choosing between Miami and the Seminoles while Tunsil is considering Alabama, Georgia and Florida State.

Although the departure of a half dozen assistant coaches has somewhat clouded the Seminoles recruiting landscape, Fisher is hoping he'll salvage a top class by the end of the day. He's had strong finishes before.
