JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An initial look at three players or units whose performance were up and three who were down in the Jaguars 27-10 loss against the Bengals.

UP

1. Jeremy Mincey
Defensive End causes two fumbles, one of which is recovered by C.J. Moseley for a touchback on the opening drive of the second half by the Bengals.

2. Justin Blackmon
Wide Receiver gets into a good rhythm in the 3rd quarter. Finishes with 6 receptions for 48 yards on the day.

3. Derek Cox
Cornerback shows up strong in coverage allowing little completions or yards to his side of the field. Finishes with 4 tackles and 1 pass defensed.

Down

1. Blaine Gabbert
Quarterback throws his first pick of the season and gains only 186 yards. Also shows poor pocket awareness getting sacked 6 times.

2. Maurice Jones-Drew
Running Back has a dismal day showing no burst through the line of scrimmage. Finishes with only 38 yards on 13 carries.

3. Rashean Mathis
Cornerback is beaten in coverage on the sidelines by A.J. Green throughout. Green finishes with 6 receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown while being matched up with Mathis most of the game.
