JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Jaguars started their offseason training activities this afternoon, but that was a secondary story on Monday.
Justin Blackmon, the Jaguars wide receiver, spoke to the media for the first time since being suspended by the NFL for four games and he was asked if he has a drug or alcohol addiction.
"I would say I don't, out of this whole thing the main thing is I made a poor decision, a selfish decision, not thinking of a long term," said Blackmon. "If you want to ask if I have a problem, I have a decision making problem."
Blackmon would not comment on if he will need rehab, but did say his teammates and coaches have been supportive since the announcement.
"There are plenty of people in the locker room, and down the hallway," said Blackmon. "Gus and Dave both have been 100 percent (behind me). The support group is good here."
