Brent's Blog: Rough start to West Coast trip
FREMONT, Calif. - It's another Monday and another unhappy morning for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jaguars long trip to the west coast got off to a rough start on Sunday with a 19-9 loss to the lowly Oakland Raiders.
The Jaguars gave up 226 yards on the ground to the Raiders, but the main point of concern continues to be a struggling offense.
Chad Henne and the offense ended up putting up some decent numbers because of a couple of late drives and one that resulted in a touchdown, but the Jags only produced six yards in the third quarter.
Maurice Jones-Drew left the game with a sprained ankle and his status is still uncertain for next week as is the starting quarterback situation for the Jags. Blaine Gabbert missed the game with a right hand injury and could miss the game in Seattle this Sunday.
