Minneapolis, MN.--The Jacksonville Jaguars are tucked into the team hotel putting the final pieces into the game plan for the opener against the Vikings.
Blaine Gabbert is set to see what his new receivers can do. Laurent Robinson and Justin Blackmon are expected to stretch the field, putting the fear of the deep ball into the defense, hopefully clearing out some space for the run game. Rashad Jennings gets the start but the Jaguars will have Maurice Jones-Drew in uniform for the first time. Mojo is expected to be the 3rd down back.
Daryl Smith will not play due to the groin injury and Derek Cox is doubtful at cornerback. That means there is less than a 75 percent chance he will play.
We start with the Mike Mularkey Show at 11:00 on CBS47 with the Jaguars Pregame Show at 11:30. The Jaguars kick off at 1:00.
