Jags finish worst season in franchise history with loss to Titans
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Jacksonville Jaguars finished off the worst season in franchise history with a 38-20 loss at Tennessee.
The Jaguars played amidst speculation on an ESPN report saying that Gene Smith would be fired as the team's general manager.
Action Sports 360 caught up with Smith after the game and he told us that he had not been fired.
Smith met with Jags owner Shad Khan on Thursday and his status moving forward was not decided. Smith will meet with Khan on Monday again.
"I've never worked to save my job," Smith told Action Sports 360 this morning in a text.
"I just tried to do my job to the best of my ability each and every day."
We will have the latest on the Jags including reaction from Nashville tonight on Action Sports 360 at 10:30 on FOX30 and 11:20 on CBS47.
