Jags resume OTA's
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Jaguars resumed OTA's on Monday with a lot familiar faces absent and other returning to the field.
Jags head coach Gus Bradley said that Jeremy Mincey and Josh Scobee were excused from practice for personal reasons. Bradley also said that Maurice Jones-Drew will be rehabbing his foot injury in Miami the next couple of weeks.
Jones-Drew has not been able to participate in practices so far this offseason. He will rejoin the team in June for mandatory mini-camp and hopefully be ready to play in training camp.
Justin Blackmon didn't practice on Monday because of tightness in his groin. It doesn't appear to be major, but the Jags kept the receiver out as a precautionary measure.
Defensive end Jason Babin returned to practice after missing last week with a knee injury, while fourth round draft pick Ace Sanders returned to the field for the first time in two weeks as well.
The Jaguars have two more practice sessions this week before breaking next week.
