Jags wrap up Thursday, Give Lewis and Nwaneri day off
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- The Jags went through a rather uneventful Thursday in full pads until back up running back Justin Forsett left with a sprained toe.
Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley gave two veterans a day off in tight end Marcedes Lewis and offensive guard Uche Nwaneri. It seemed like much of the team took time off Thursday too. "On some days the offense out does the defense and other days the defense out plays the offense," said Bradley.
Blaine Gabbert continued to practice today and only sat out a few drills. Cecil Shorts III who has been stellar through out camp had a tough day as he put the football on the turf after making a catch. Jags cornerback Alan Ball had another interception as he continues to make plays during camp.
The team will have a Friday 9:55am practice before Saturday night's scrimmage in the stadium. That scrimmage begins at 6:45pm.
