JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--A double dose of bad news for the Jaguars today as they lose the game to St. Louis and lose top draft pick Luke Joeckel for the season with a high ankle fracture.

Joeckel was injured early when he was rolled up on and left the game on a cart. Coach Gus Bradley confirming he was done for the season after the game with a fracture of his ankle. That injury comes just a few days after the team traded its other tackle Eugene Monroe to the Baltimore Ravens for a couple draft picks.

As for the game, the Jags were done in by two Blaine Gabbert interceptions, one for a touchdown, and let one of the league's worst rushing teams go for 143 yards on the ground. Gabbert was pulled from the game in the second half with a hamstring injury. It's the sixth game in his last ten starts where he wasn't able to finish a game he started.

Justin Blackmon did have five catches for 136 yards and a 67 yard touchdown in his debut, while Maurice Jones-Drew had his most productive game of the season with 70 yards on 17 carries.

Next week the Jags travel to Denver to take on the Broncos.

go jagwad's dig a hole. another great loss. 0-5 can still take the division. lol. we do a lot of talking but little do. fan's keep on showing up we need your hard earned money!our million dollar home's need addition's. also the new car's we bought last year. we need new one's.we the player's are sorry we can't win but we are all in line to cash our fat paycheck's. it's a great deal for the fan's to spend at least $200.00 dollar's to see us lose. why do you fan's leave at half time when we get our butt's kicked? you could be spending a lot more money.then you can see the owner parade around in his $5,000 suit's.wow isn't that a thrill.put the film of the game's on comedy central.

I watched the Broncos win in the highest scoring game in NFL history last night (51-48). Maybe the Jags should save some travel money. Go ahead and forfeit, then stay home and practice.
