JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- The Jacksonville Jaguars first game of a two game west coast swing didn't turn out well as the team fell to 0-2 losing to the Oakland Raiders 19-9.

At least the Jags finally scored an offensive touchdown when Chad Henne hit Clay Harbor for a fourth quarter touchdown. Maurice Jones-Drew left the game with a sprained ankle and did not return. On the day he had 10 carries for just 27 yards.
Chad Henne was 24 of 37 for 235 yards and a touchdown, but most of those completions happened in the fourth quarter.

Oakland started the scoring after a big punt return. Marcell Reese had an 11 yard touchdown run for the Raiders, and four Sebastian Janikowski field goals later, the Raiders were up 19-3.

Finally in the 4th quarter Henne had his most productive drive completing passes of 30, 22 and a 13 yard touchdown to Clay Harbor.  The Jags will remain in California this week before traveling to Washington Saturday for Sunday's game with the Seahawks.

The Jaguars (0-2) to start the season had 15 first downs today.

15 first down's? a statistic that mean's nothing. what were the other stat's that mean more? probably not worth mentioning. lol sorry team, same result's.

they should change there mascot from a jaguar to a kitten. that's how they play. I would be raising heck with the office and get on the owner and make them a winner or a change. you fan's have been shelling out big buck's year after year for a bunch of loser's. they are great at giving excuse's why they lose.
