JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed a tight end to the practice squad.
Danny Noble originally signed with Tampa Bay as a free agent in 2012. He played four games as a rookie before injuring his hamstring. The Bucs put him on injured reserve before waiving him last month.
Noble is a 6 foot 5 inch tall, 248-pound tight end from northeast Ohio. He played on both sides of the ball at Toledo. He finished with 26 catches for 506 yards with nine touchdowns as a senior on offense, and recorded 17 tackles for loss and four sacks on defense.
He'll wear number 88.
The Jaguars are thin at the tight end position.
Clay Harbor moves into a starting role with Marcedes Lewis out with a calf injury.
Allen Reisner is on IR due to a knee injury.
