JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coordinator Mel Tucker has spoken to Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez, who is looking to replace Bret Bielema, but Tucker insists "there's no news there."

Tucker said Monday that he and Alvarez spoke Friday, but added there's "not an interest on my part at this time."

Bielema left the Badgers last week to take the head job at Arkansas. Tucker was immediately rumored as a potential replacement, mostly because he played for Wisconsin (1992-95), has NFL experience and has a close relationship with Alvarez.

Tucker was an assistant at Michigan State, Miami (Ohio), LSU and Ohio State before moving to the NFL in 2005.

Tucker says he has his "hands full right here. We're just going to take it one day at a time."
