JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - 15-year old Clare believes foster care is one of the best things that ever happened to her. She was abused as a baby in North Carolina and was sent to live with her grandparents here in Jacksonville. Clare says life with her Grandparents was wonderful for as long as they could take care of her.
"They just got too old and had to give me up", says Clare.
This 15-year old is your typical girl. She loves shopping and fun jewelry. Clare also loves to sing and dance. She's hoping for a mom to share special girl time with and a dad who will offer unconditional support. Clare says when she gets the call about a possible adoption, it'll be hard not to show overwhelming joy!
"I'll be like, Yippee"!
