JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - I did it! I took four children out to the park by myself and survived! Keyshawn, Jeffery, Roosevelt and Ashley made me their honorary "Auntie". Keyshawn is the oldest, he's 11 but very protective of his younger siblings. One of the reasons they were so easy for me to entertain for the day, is the natural way they protect one another.

These four have been through allot together. From being left home alone to physical abuse. It was one of the children's teachers who called child protective services about possible abuse. An investigation lead to the children being taken away to foster care. Keyshawn remembers the day DCF picked them up.

"She said she was going to jail, then she cried, gave us a hug and kisses and said goodbye--be good."

This little crew is proof children are resilient. There's no shortage of smiles and laughter among them. They each have so much love to give. They're waiting for adoptive parents to give it to.
