JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Talking with Kirvonna, you forget she’s only 14.
Her favorite subject in school is Latin, she loves poetry and has an appreciate for fine foods.
But her first love is animals. She’s like a young dog whisperer! We spent girl time together volunteering at the Jacksonville Humane Society. She tried her best to give each four legged lots of love.
"It’s like I can hear their thoughts. They have feelings just like we do. They’re loyal and they’re good to you no matter what."
Kirvonna is third oldest child out of 10 children. Her mother was mentally incapable of taking care of the family, so they’re all spread out, either on their own or in foster care.
Kirvonna is looking forward to adoption. She’s hopeful for a family who loves to travel and loves a good laugh.
"They'll never be bored, I like making people laugh," Kirvonna says.
