JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Sable may have lost her mother a few years ago, but she says she has not only her mother's smile but strength. Sable is working hard in school and trying to figure out what she'd like to major in once she gets to college.

Sable decided to enter the foster system on her own. She says she didn't want to be a burden on her sisters who are young adults trying to make it on their own. While she's getting the support she needs, Sable has one wish. A family that will love and accept her. She says no one can take her mother's place of course, but there's room in her heart for an extended family she can call her own.
You could show Sable that family means forever.  If you are interested in adopting Sable or any of the children you’ve seen on Jacksonville’s Children—pick up the phone and call Family Support Services.

The number is: (904)  421-5800.
