Jacksonville, Fla. - Here's an 11-year old who's asking you to take time today, open your heart and listen. Taychun maybe young but he's brave. Not only for sharing his story with us on television but for reaching out to the adults in the community and asking for help. He says, there are children out there who need you and he's one of them.

"You can't survive without a mom, you need them to teach you", Taychun says.

Taychun told me, he dreams of a mother's love and he dreams of having the support of a father.

His family was dismantled he says by drugs. Taychun has been in foster care since he was 3-years old.

I found Taychun to be smart, polite and confident. He wants to be a football player and a gymnastics gold metalist when he grows up. First, he just wants the love of good parents.

"I'm trying to find a mom that will adopt me and keep me with them".
