JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - There are times I'm overtaken by the courage of kids. Willis is one of them. His world has been rocked the last several years.

It all started with the death of his mother when he was only 6. The day of his final court hearing that would seal the deal on him and his sister being adopted by a family member, he slipped the judge a note. It was plea for help. He and his sister were being abused.

"We were removed from the home that day," says Willis.

Willis tells me he had to find the courage. His mother wasn't there to protect him but she would've wanted much better for her children.

This 15-year old is hoping to start life anew. He's hoping for a fresh start, starting today.

You could be the one to show this little boy compassion.  Contact Family Support Services to invite Willis into your home--and heart.
