JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- "It's kind of like a curse, talking about it makes it worse".
Those words are from a rap song that 13-year old Talih wrote himself.
"I'm not doing this for hurt or the pain, but it feels like God cut my heart with a sword cane,” he sings.
I went to a talent show that Talih practiced hard for.
His big sister Morgan, who's 14, played the guitar and sang. They did a wonderful job expressing themselves using music.
This isn't my first interview with the two. It's my third. I'll continue to update them as Jacksonville's Children until we finally get them adopted.
In the meantime, they have finally found a way to deal with the bitter blow life has dealt them. They have to come to terms with the fact that their mother terminated her rights to her children because of charges of neglect.
"Maybe she couldn't do it at the time", says Morgan who's soft-spoken and reserved.
