Rob Carter joined the VyStar team in 2005 as the Vice President for our Normandy branch. He has many years of financial experience, bringing him to his current position of Regional Vice President at VyStar where he manages numerous Vice Presidents of branches. He grew up in Preston Hollow, New York and has been living in Jacksonville since 1984. Rob says that his hobby is golf – golf – and more golf. He is active in our community and volunteers extensively in religious activities. His philosophy of saving money is “Have a plan to save and stick to it!!!”

Lisa Miller is VyStar's Vice President at the Arlington Branch on Atlantic Blvd. She joined VyStar in 1997 as Vice President of our Merrill Road location. She has also been in charge of VyStar's Jacksonville Beach branch and the Atlantic and Kernan branch. A native of Manistique Michigan, Lisa moved to Jacksonville in 1982. Prior to joining the VyStar team she worked 13 years for Barnett Bank. Lisa has one daughter, Ashley and in her spare time enjoys running, reading, music, anything outdoors and learning new things. Being a part of the community is important to Lisa and she is actively involved in her church as well as a local outreach that supports individuals who are divorced or separated. Her favorite part about working for VyStar is the opportunity it affords her to help so many people.

Gene Moore is VyStar's Vice President at the Downtown Branch on Hogan Street. He joined VyStar in August of 2005 as Member Services Representative. In 2006 Gene was promoted to MRS Supervisor of the Downtown Branch and then promoted to Vice President December 2008. Gene is a native of Jacksonville. Prior to joining the VyStar team he was the head coach of the University of Florida Cheerleading program for five years and the owner of the Florida Elite All-Stars Inc. for 15 years. Gene earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Alabama. He enjoys weekend getaways with friends, spending time with his daughter and supporting the Florida Gators and the Jacksonville Jaguars! “I have always really enjoyed helping people and making a difference in ones life. The excitement in ones eye and comfort of helping someone, knowing I helped make a difference in someone’s life is truly genuine and important to me.”

Kathy Rochford joined the VyStar team in February of 2006 as a Member Relationship Specialist Supervisor. She grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from Robert E. Lee Sr High. In addition to spending time with her grandchildren, Kathy is a very active individual, working with her church though women’s group, mission trips and helping in the nursery along with being involved with Take Stock in Children in the Clay County Region and mentoring a High School student. She loves the outdoor from camping, swimming, horseback riding, and parks –- she notes that her bags are always packed and ready to go. “I love life and what it has to offer – my cup is always half full.”

Angie Sanftner is the Vice President of VyStar’s branch on Normandy Blvd. She joined the VyStar team in 1993 and has worked in Item Processing, at the NAS Jacksonville branch, and at the VyStar Call Center. She grew up in Iowa and moved to Jacksonville with the military in 1986. She enjoys riding her motorcycle and spending time with family and friends during her spare time. Her money philosophy is “Pay yourself first. You need to save for emergencies and retirement. Try to pay for things with cash instead of credit.”
