Steve Wrigley: Thankfully, we are closing in on the NFL Draft. Let's get this thing over already and get on to training camp.

After weeks of going with cornerback Dee Milliner from Alabama with the number 2 pick I switched up to Shariff Floyd the defensive tackle from Florida.

Now, I'm leaning to Eric Fisher, the big offensive tackle from CMU. The offense is needs to show bigger improvement than the defense so I am going offensive line. Eugene Monroe's contract status and a need to give Blaine something to work with are the reasons.

My wildcard is FSU quarterback EJ Manuel. I think he's coming to the Jaguars in a later round.
Brent Martineau: Well, we're getting down to decision time. General Manager Dave Cadlwell says he has dwindled his wish list to two players, but we won't know that until draft day next Thursday.

My latest mock draft has the Jaguars taking Dee Milliner. I'm hearing his name more and more in relation to the Jags, which is interesting because I had Milliner to the Jags in the first mock draft weeks ago.

The Jaguars don't seem to have a bad choice at number two with so many options, but the two most controversial choices likely would be Milliner and quarterback Geno Smith. The second pick usually isn't used on a corner, but it is a position of need for the Jaguars.

My wild card is Geno Smith. I don't think you can rule him out of the top five, but he certainly could be one of those draft day sliders down the board.
Stuart Webber: It's almost time to find out who teams will actually select in the 2013 NFL Draft, but first let's see where they aren't going in our latest mock draft. Ok so maybe I'm selling myself short a bit here but on to the picks.

Joeckel to the Chiefs as a surefire 10 year starter on the offensive line. For the Jags I'm going to make a completely unfounded assumption and say their recent trip to Oregon to visit Nike headquarters may have included a stopover in Eugene. That means Dion Jordan is the answer to recent pass rushing woes.

Floyd stays at three with the Raiders and although I don't think he's a top five quarterback I know signal callers always get undeserved bumps leading up the draft so Geno Smith to the Eagles. Rounding out the first five picks is Eric Fisher, what better place for a Central Michigan guy to go to than Detroit?

Finally the wild card, this go round I'll wager that Geno Smith is the only QB taken in the first round and Matt Barkley of Southern Cal falls to the second round.
Dave DeCandis: In my latest mock draft I have Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner on his way to Jacksonville. The Jaguars have yet to address a glaring need at cornerback and I believe they will pick one on draft day. He is head and shoulders above any other defensive back in this year’s draft, however, the one thing that could steer the Jags is away is Milliner’s lack of size. New head coach Gus Bradley has a reputation of using bigger corners in his defense and Milliner is not that.

I still think that the Jaguars will take a quarterback with the first pick of the second round. Florida State QB E.J. Manuel will likely be there and I think the Jags would take a strong look at him. He is mobile and Bradley has said in the past that he likes quarterbacks that can move the pocket and Manuel can certainly do that.
