JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Bozard Ford Lincoln is the starting point for our trip to All Wet Sports. We’re getting there in our brand new Ford Escape Edge to do a little paddle boarding.
"It's the fastest growing sport,” said All Wet Sports owner Andy Fraden. “I would recommend it for anyone 10 and up. It's really very peaceful and quieter than other sports."
All Wet Sports is located at Beach and Grove Park on the southside. It’s an easy drive from anywhere around Jacksonville and a one stop shop for paddle boarding from equipment, instruction, to the water to ride on.
Knowing that people are new to the sport, it's really about getting people comfortable with the ins and outs.
My son jack and I had never tried paddle boarding before, so we were put through a course, much like others that come to the store for the first time. The key is balance and knowing how to get the most of the experience.
