EAGLE ISLAND, Ga. -- Want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city? Why don't you rent out your own private island to play on?
Eagle Island, Georgia is the place for that. First, you need to meet up with Captain Andy Hill in Darien, Georgia. From the marina, you will be whisked away to your own private retreat. One house, one island and a total getaway. "It's a true retreat," said Capt. Any Hill, the owner of Eagle Island.
Eagle Island is great for couples, families, honeymooners and ladies' weekends. The island has seen it all. You don't even have to worry about bringing anything with you. Captain Andy and his staff do all the grocery shopping for you and they stock the house before your arrival. You will also have access to a boat and blue crab traps for a true private island dinner.
Of course, if you have a boat of your own, and you know how to navigate the Intracoastal, you can also arrive on your own. No check in or check out time is required. Just make sure you book ahead of time to make sure the house is available.
