Jacksonville, Fla. - For the past fifty years, Zebo's Crab Shack has been serving seafood on the West side. The garlic crabs and shrimp are a favorite here. The state health inspector shut Zebo's down recently for having 10 critical violations including:

No sink
No cold or hot water
Plumbing system in disrepair

Manager Ary Kurdo was happy to explain and show us what happened. He told us, "Yes, we had a sink problem."

Kurdo took us back into his kitchen where he says they were remodeling. They had to put in new floor tile so they needed to remove the sink for a few hours. He says it's all fixed and he's back open for business.

We asked him why the inspector gave him a violation for not thawing shrimp the proper way. Kurdo says, "That's because we didn't have a sink." He says he has a money back guarantee on all of his food and if a customer doesn't like how the food is cooked, they can bring it back for a full refund. This might be a crab shack but Kurdo says his kitchen is fit for a king. "I appreciate you coming here to ask these questions and let people know we are back in business. Thank you!"
