Jacksonville, FLA. - Salty River Sports Bar and Grill is located on Regency Square Boulevard in Jacksonville. It has been open for about a year and a half.
Manager Tony Meshrek invited us right in to show us he fixed all of these critical violations:
A broken dish machine
Dead and live roaches
Live flies in the dish washing area
Tony says the dish machine is fixed and back to sanitizing dishes properly and there are no more live flies buzzing around. As far as live roaches we didn't see any but we did find several dead ones scattered around in the corner by a sink.
Tony says, "Everything has been solved on the spot. It's clean. To our customers - we would like to see you come in and take care of you."
Hardwired Internet Café on Prudential Drive in Jacksonville and Roni's Food in Glen Saint Mary rounded out the top three restaurants with the most number of critical violations. Roni's was temporarily closed down for roaches but has since re-opened.
