Jacksonville, FLA. - The home base for Steamer's Hot Dogs is in the Hogan's corner parking lot right next to the tax collectors office at the intersection of Beach and Hogan. Owners Melissa and Rich have been in the hot dog business for two years. They say lately times have been tough... very tough. Melissa says, "We lost this spot... so we had paid for our whole year license..." Melissa says Steamer's had to pack up and roll to a different location because a new restaurant opened in the plaza. After seven months Steamer's is back and getting re-set up caused a few kinks. The inspector found 5 critical violations on the cart including no hot or cold water at the hand sink and an
expired license. Melissa says, "Everything is working on it now." Melissa says the inspector gave them an extension on paying their license fee and as soon as business picks up - they plan to pay it. She says, "Come see us. It was some minor things that happened and we got it all fixed."
Steamer's is open Monday-Friday 11am-5pm
