Jacksonville, FLA. - Woody's BBQ is located on Blanding in Orange Park. The restaurant has been at this location for 25 years. After walking in... assistant manager, Randy, immediately took us on a tour of the kitchen to show us that it is clean. The inspector found 16 critical violations at this Woody's location including one fridge not working, sewage seeping out of a pipe behind the restaurant, three dead roaches and flies near the drain in a storage room. Randy says they've been using vinegar to get rid of the annoying fruit flies but they're still battling the bugs. The broken fridge is now back up and running. Randy says, "everything has been fixed." We asked, "What about the sewage?" Randy replied, "Griffith industries didn't attach the cap back and we had that fixed also." Randy says there's a reason this Woody's location has been open for more than two decades... their famous baby back ribs and their reputation for great service - both keep customers coming back for more. Randy wants his customers to know, "Everything was fixed on site in front of the health inspector - we have no violations."

Here are the other restaurants at the top of the list this week for critical violations.

At Dicks Wings on University Blvd there were 15 critical violations. The inspector observed an employee touch food without washing their hands.

At La Nopalera Mexican Restaurant on Hendricks Avenue there were 13 critical violations including food with mold like growth - three peppers were thrown out.

The following restaurants had zero health violations and get our clean plate award of the week!

Boeing Bldg: Aviation Ave
Domino's Pizza: Monument Road
Ingram's Island Grill: St. Johns Avenue
Snoballs: Bartram Park Blvd
Sawgrass Country Club Inbetween: Golf Club Drive
