NEW ORLEANS, La. - Day two is just about in the books at Super Bowl XLVII. After awhile in New Orleans it becomes just one long day anyway.
We have been working since 8am this morning and I'll be back at it for the Action News morning show at 6am on Friday. The work and the schedule kind of puts a damper on all that fun everyone thinks you're having! We are having a good time I will say.
We ran in a lot of New Orleans folks today and they are so proud of their city for the way they host these big events. Every city has a great deal of pride, but given what's happen in New Orleans in the last decade, it feels different here.
[10 COMMERCIALS TO LOOK FOR DURING THE SUPER BOWL
Another example of New Orleans knowing how to throw a party was earlier tonight at the Riverwalk. It was a pretty cool sight to see the Super Bowl XLVII roman numerals floating down the Mississippi River on a barge. The scene was pretty wild with fireworks, a music show and nfl highlights playing in the roman numerals. The numerals are 25 feet high each.
That's going to do it for now. We'll catch up with a lot of Jags folks on Friday and have more from the Big Easy.
